I can across a great site for Xbox 360 Multiplayer titles. Need to know which games offer split-screen local play for 4 players? What about ones that offer 2 player same-screen? Want only system link titles? Co-op or versus? All you have to do is tick a few boxes and click search.

COD4 Prestige Mode

You just hit rank 55 and now you are a Commander with those pretty 5 stars, where do you go from here? Well your not done yet! One of the great things about Call of Duty 4 is that it keeps the excitement coming, “The Prestige Mode.” Unlike other games in the past when you have reached your limit, what else is there to do?

It is time to hit that Prestige Mode button. Be aware once you do, you are committed to start the process all over again. Yes, everything that you may have accomplished, camouflage for your weapons, that red dot for your M4, challenges in boot camp and elite. Everything starts all over again.

But like I said earlier that is what makes Call of Duty 4, that much fun. You have 10 opportunities to relive the excitement from the beginning all over again, but with the experience you didn’t have at the beginning as a noob. It’s like going back to your childhood with the experiences and knowledge that you have learned on the way into adulthood (well at least for us older gamers).

Do you have the guts to Prestige? Are you ready to start all over again?

Go ahead hit the button and once you hear that gun shot you can not help but get a smile on your face and say to yourself, I am that good!

Here is a great Forza Motorsport 2 Suspension Calculator.

Just plug in your cars drive and engine placement, weight distribution and total weight. Select the type of spring feel you and and press calculate.

This gives you a great baseline for tuning your car’s suspension. It is not the end-all setup, it is just a much better starting point than the default setups. You’ll want to tweak the final settings to your liking once you get a feel for things.

The setups from the calc produce a bit of an oversteering car, which some people prefer. I like understeer myself, so I simply adjusted the swaybars to suit, and most of the rest of the setup was great.

My cars are much smoother and easier to control than with the default values or just trying to tweak them myself.

I came across something a while back that really helps my gaming, so I figured I’d get the word out.

Gel Tabz are controller stick covers that make the stick much larger and easier to grip. I have huge hands so these things keep me from slipping and over/under controlling.

They are rubbery almost to the point of being sticky, and have little bumps for better grippage and gription, two major concerns for heavily addicted gamers.

They run about 5 or 6 bucks at your local game shop, I highly recommend trying them out.

I’m getting a bit tired with GameFly’s slower than molasses shipping and return times. I think I’m going to try out the new GotaPlay Game Rentals service. They have 6 shipping centers, including one very close to me.

Has anyone used this service before?

I’ll let you know how it works out for me.

Well, it has been a week, and no games have shipped. I just canceled this service, and I don’t recommend using them.

I think I’ll give gamerang a try.

I finally took a couple of shots of my gaming area today.

This is running on an InFocus DLP (entry-level) projector, 95.5″ hand built screen, ScanSpeak kit speakers with handbuilt outboard crossovers, Adire Audio Rava 12″ powered sub all driven by a Nakamichi AV-8 receiver (not pictured).

A (supposedly) leaked insider document from Best Buy shows they are stockpiling 360 consoles to go on sale on December 18th.

The next Xbox 360 shipment arrives in stores between Dec. 11 and 16. All units need to be held for Sun., Dec. 18.”

Best Buy stores are also told not to take pre-orders, force bundle purchases, create waiting lists or hold the product for customers or employees.

They are also instructed to not hold a midnight or early opening.

There you have it! Those of you who haven’t yet snagged a 360, here’s your chance. Be at Best Buy early for their store opening on Dec. 18.
