Xbox 360 Controller Review

IGN have written up a review on the new Xbox 360 controller. As many have proclaimed its greatness, the controller unsurprisingly gains a 9.0 rating, out of 10.

Though it’s not really a technical review and reads more like commentary, they cover all the bases pretty well.

The main thing in my mind, is the wireless reliability. Seems like they’ve had no problems here either.

“Microsoft is touting the wireless capabilities of the 360 controller pretty seriously, and with good reason. After plenty of use on our part, we’ve never had the wireless connection drop out, and once you get used to the freedom of wireless, it’s hard to go back. ”

Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter Review

360 wireless networking adapter Teamxbox give us the lowdown on the wireless adapter. Looks like a winner for the job.

Features:
USB interface (no power supply needed)
802.11a 802.11g 802.11b compatible
Attaches right to the rear of the 360 console

Setup involves plugging it in, snapping it to the console chassis, and selecting your network from the System blade.

They have used it for a week with “No interferences, no glitches, no interruptions at all. ”

Only downside? This unit costs more than a wireless bridge, which would do the job as well. However, you won’t get the slick design that matches your 360.

If you need wireless, definitely take a look at this adapter.

Overall rating 9.5/10
