Must Be 18 to Use Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm
Xbox Live users under the age of 18 won't have access to Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm services when they go live. According to Microsoft, they currently have no way for parents to control which services they want their kids to use via Family Settings, so they have just disabled them.
Microsoft is currently working on an update, which will allow parents to turn on the options if they so desire, but it will be a while before this update is live.
The services will launch, and if you're under 18, no dice. Hopefully not long after the services release, you'll get the updated option functionality through Family Settings.
