Xbox Live Bans Many 360s

Xbox Live has brought out the Ban Hammer in full force today, with many consoles being banned from Microsoft's online service.
There has been no official word from Microsoft just yet, but cries from many gamers around the world can be heard, if you listen hard enough. You can see new posts every couple of minutes at the xbox.com suspensions forum.
Generally speaking, bans come to those who have modded their 360 to played copied or burned games, but there are other reasons for being banned. See the console ban policy for more info.
Let this be a word to the wise, kiddies. Don't mod your box!
