Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige and Hardened Editions

The next installment in the C.O.D. series will soon be upon us, so let's decide ahead of time which version we'd like. Here's the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition, Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition, what each includes and what the differences between them are.

First up, Prestige Edition:

Here's what ya get:

- Includes fully-functional, wearable, adjustable Night Vision Goggles with indiviually numbered and engraved Collector's Stand. Custom-designed and painted goggles allow sight in absolute darkness up to 50 feet in black & white or night vision green.

So, if you go over the list, these two are basically the same except for the Night Vision Goggles and the mannequin head to put them on. Let it be known that, according to the powers that be, the difference between Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition and Hardened Edition is the simple addition of Night Vision Goggles to the Prestige Package. Everything else is basically the same, aside from exterior packaging size.

Of course, for the rest of the unwashed masses, there's always the regular edition:

- Fine green plastic box, expertly crafted of Microsoft certified and approved plastic.
