Galaga Legions on Arcade
Reminiscent of a bad acid trip from the 70s, Galaga Legions was released this week on Xbox Live Arcade.
A frantic shooter with classic arcade roots, this title is pretty fun. I wasn't quite able to get a handle on the enemies coming from the right and left yet, but the new gameplay elements of satellite guns which are placed where you want on the screen, makes this an interesting update.

I also bought this game and like you stated its a few new tweaks and new art to a classic, kinda hurts my eyes though cuz of the colors.
