Call of Duty 4 - Prestige Mode, is it worth it?

COD4 Prestige Mode
You just hit rank 55 and now you are a Commander with those pretty 5 stars, where do you go from here? Well your not done yet! One of the great things about Call of Duty 4 is that it keeps the excitement coming, “The Prestige Mode.” Unlike other games in the past when you have reached your limit, what else is there to do?
It is time to hit that Prestige Mode button. Be aware once you do, you are committed to start the process all over again. Yes, everything that you may have accomplished, camouflage for your weapons, that red dot for your M4, challenges in boot camp and elite. Everything starts all over again.
But like I said earlier that is what makes Call of Duty 4, that much fun. You have 10 opportunities to relive the excitement from the beginning all over again, but with the experience you didn’t have at the beginning as a noob. It’s like going back to your childhood with the experiences and knowledge that you have learned on the way into adulthood (well at least for us older gamers).
Do you have the guts to Prestige? Are you ready to start all over again?
Go ahead hit the button and once you hear that gun shot you can not help but get a smile on your face and say to yourself, I am that good!

I’m level 55 right now but I’m not sure if I want to trade all my hard work in for a lil icon. Sure, it shows dexterity but anyone that plays CoD4 that much is a bit obsessed (my opinion).

I still play CoD4 and moving forward with my prestige. The best part of this is that you can see yourself progress with the game and it does make you better. There are a lot of individuals that have not prestige and probable wont prestige, which is there choice. The fact that you may look at it is obsessive is your opinion and other will agree with you, which is OK. When for others (like myself) it is fun and challenging to move on.
Thanks for reading.

awesome game, my friend is annoyed with me because hes rank 45 and hes got a game time of over three days (72 hours) ad I am rand 35 and Ive been playing just over 13 hours!!! I hope that I can get to presteige mode as soon as possible, ill stay there for a couple of days and have the adrenaline rush of getting back to rank 1 with a single click

I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MY GOLD CROSS.. IT IS DEFINETLY FUN.. I FOUND OUT ABOUT 2 PRESTIGE ..HEADQUARTERS IS BEST OR SABOTAGE IN GETTING QUICK POINTS. I AM AT PRESTIGE 7 AT 45 AND PUT IN ABOUT 15 DAYS. IT COULD BE FASTER BUT I PLAY ALOT OF PRIVATE MATCHES AND YOU DON’T GET XP. HAVE FUN I AM ADDICTED.. CANT WAIT FOR CALL OF DUTY 5.

I’ve done prestige several times. It’s really up to you if you want to start all over again. Everytime I restart I kick myself in the butt because I have to work again for Martydrom, 3 Grenades perk and 50 cal sniper :0).
Happy restarting!
