Arcade Old School - Track & Field Released Today

Track & Field XBLA Arcade

Remember this old finger-bleeder? Track and field - mash the buttons as fast as humanly possible, now on Xbox Live Arcade for 5 bucks. (400 MS points)

You can compete in events with up to four players in Xbox LIVE Versus Mode, go head-to-head in the running events and host your own World Champion party.

I’m not sure I’m willing to put my controller through this punishment, but could be worth a good visit to the past.

Demo: Stranglehold - Xbox Live Marketplace

John Woo Presents Stranglehold

New demo is up today, John Woo Presents Stranglehold. Consider this the new generation Max Payne. Similar style and game play - dual wielding pistols in a Hollywood-esque format.

Play as Inspector Tequila in this single-player demo and engage in cinematic firefights, inspired by John Woo, blasting your way through a fully destructible Hong Kong marketplace.

This might be a fun single player game, the graphics should be good at least. It uses the Unreal 3 engine and Havok physics system.

Not available in Germany

Xbox 360 System Update

There’s a new update out for the 360 dashboard.

It doesn’t affect anything, yet, but will provide wireless connectivity for the new wireless guitars available in a couple of months.

So, don’t go looking for new features or anything like that. Just update and frag on…
