RentZero Video Game Rentals

Well, I wasn’t very impressed with Gamerang, and there is a good review for RentZero at Game Rental Guy, so I am giving them a try.

So far it looks promising, I joined at 3:35pm EST yesterday afternoon, and they already shipped my game (BF2:MC) yesterday. They have a 14-day free trial, and they’re located in the middle of the US, so maybe the delivery time will be good.

I’ll keep you posted as to how this rental service goes, I’m sick of GameFly’s ship times.

Just curious, what problems did you have with Gamerang? How is Rentzero working out for you? I read the policy for Rentzero, and they seem to be ALOT stricter on games being lost in the mail. Along the lines of if more than one get lost you are held responsible. Being with Gamefly, that seems pretty likely to happen.

Gamerang was slower than gamefly.

I have had at least 3 games lost with gamefly.

Nothing has been lost with rentzero. They have a 3 day ship time for me. They don’t have as much stock as gamefly, but when they have a game I want, I get it quicker.

I recently emailed Rentzero and they said they will be carrying Nintendo DS by the end of the year. When this happens I’ll definitely give them a try!!!

I’ve had constant problems with RentZero. Games have been lost. I’ve waited over a month without a game …a few times! And they don’t respond to my complaints. I’ve tried to resolve the issues, and I told them I’d be posting comments online. They didn’t even respond to that. I feel completely ripped off, and recommend that people avoid doing business with this company.

Do not use Gamerang. I live in New York and they have an office in NJ. Games takes forever to arrive, i’m talking about two weeks turn around time. And try to call the 800 number and its a joke. I have been calling non stop for five days(and I mean non-stop 5 hours straight). Have not received not one call back. They have not even picked up the phone yet. I do not think that there is anyone working at there 800 number. I would not reccomend them to anyone…..ever
