Best Buy to Have Xbox 360 Console Dec 18
A (supposedly) leaked insider document from Best Buy shows they are stockpiling 360 consoles to go on sale on December 18th.
A scanned copy of this document is linked below, and it is not verified, but does seem legit.
Here's the juice:
"Hold All Xbox 360s for Dec. 18 Ad
The next Xbox 360 shipment arrives in stores between Dec. 11 and 16. All units need to be held for Sun., Dec. 18."
Best Buy stores are also told not to take pre-orders, force bundle purchases, create waiting lists or hold the product for customers or employees.
They are also instructed to not hold a midnight or early opening.
There you have it! Those of you who haven't yet snagged a 360, here's your chance. Be at Best Buy early for their store opening on Dec. 18.

Got there at 3 in the afternoon, just to c if ne1 was actually that crazy…there was…already 25…i was planning on getting there at closing…sooooooo….

i live in milwaukee and just drove around the area at about 9:30 pm. There are already about 50 people outside all 4 in my area. This is really becoming a joke. There are a ton of crazy parents sleeping outside so their spoiled kid can get a damn video game.

I went to my local best buy and I was 31′st in line at 8pm. I decided to take my chances at a different best buy in the area. Apparently they are not allowing lineups because of some fires that were started on the 22nd launch. So, they said come back at 5am when they will allow a line… we will see what happens.

went to the best buy in Noho, Manhattan. Got there at 5 pm. Was 4th in line. There was suppsed to be 40 360s. There were only 36. 23rd st store was supposed to have 80. They only had 20. At 10 pm they gave me a voucher, and Im going to pick it up at 8pm tomorrow morning. They were going to make us wait, but the NYPD didnt want there to be violence overnight. Gotta love the NYPD.

BEST BUY SCREWED UP!!!
They were supposed to wait untill the 18Th for the sale, Instead they gave tickets at 9Pm on the 17th to all the people that started a line. I talked to the employee and he said ” we didnt want them to stay up all night” BULL *&%$. WHAT THEY DID IS ILLEGAL. They advertised it for the 18th but pretty much gave out reserves the 17TH. i thought it was FIRST come First serve Sunday morning 8.am. WE SHOULD ALL SUE BEST BUY!!
