40,000 Xbox 360s Sold on eBay
Reports show that 40,000 Xbox 360 consoles have been sold on eBay. That's 10% of the estimated 400,000 to have been sent to North America.
I hate the fact that this is going on. Many gamers and gift-buyers are falling for the outrageous prices at ebay.
I know some people waited in the cold and rain for hours to get a 360, and even had some friends and family members do the same. I almost feel like that is ok, if they waited in line like the rest of us.
However, there have been reports of retail employees snapping up stock of the 360 before consumers get a chance, just so they can be resold on ebay for profit of several hundred dollars. That sucks!
If you are searching for an Xbox 360, hang tough and hold out! Don't pay these prices. More stock is coming, and prices seem to have been falling on ebay. Best Buy will have some on sale Dec 18th for sure.
Remember this, when you spend your cash, you are voting in acceptance of what is being done. If you don't like or believe in what is being done on eBay, don't condone it by buying a 360 console there.
Your dollars cast votes. If no one bought 360s on ebay, they wouldn't be selling at these prices, and more stock would have been on retailer shelves recently.
